• A new play about apologizing too much.

Apoloholics is a heartfelt and humorous exploration of people who have spent their lives apologizing for simply existing. What happens when they try to reclaim their voices? Through a series of witty, poignant, and relatable stories inspired by real-life experiences, the play confronts the hidden cost of self-doubt while celebrating the journey toward self-acceptance. Perfect for anyone who's ever said "I'm sorry" a few too many times. Written by life-long apoloholic, Mary Corigliano.

  • Reviews

We were going to apologize... but the reviews said not to.

"It’s not heavy-handed. It doesn’t need to be. If anything, the only real note is that you want more of it. It’s a strong, thoughtful, and surprisingly affecting piece that balances humor and heart in a way that sneaks up on you. And you might find yourself thinking twice before saying “sorry” on the way out."

    - Stephen Kearly, Hi! Drama

The ensemble is strong and cohesive, with each actor taking on multiple roles while maintaining clarity and individuality. There is a palpable sense of joy in their performance, even as they navigate heavier material, which makes the piece feel alive and collaborative. It’s a moving reminder that sometimes the most powerful statement is not “I’m sorry,” but silence, self-acceptance, or simply standing firm in one’s truth.

    - Malini Singh McDonald, Theatre Beyond Broadway
